Game of theWeek: I Spy a Mouse in the House

I Spy a Mouse in the House is a great picture rhyming game by Carson Dellosa. The game is similar to the popular I Spy books where children have to locate hidden objects in the story. I Spy a Mouse in the House includes 36 game cards and a colorful game board. No reading required! Each player takes a turn by picking a blue mouse card and finding the object on the game board. When they locate the item , they keep their card. At the end of the game the player with the most cards wins! Three different variations can be played, use the green mouse cards to spy objects on the game board that rhyme with the object on the card. Do you want to play with older kids? Just set a time limit for finding objects on the game board. I Spy a Mouse in the House is a great family game! Recommended ages for the game is 4 and up, and it is fun for 1-3 players. Kites!
 March is a great time to talk about flying kites in the windy spring weather. We will be reading Curious George Flies a Kite by Margaret Rey, and Berenstain Bears: We Like Kites by Stan and Jan Berenstain. We will of course be making a decorative kite to hang at home. Game of the Week: Cogno
 Our game of the week is an exciting game that will send you to space and beyond! Cogno is a awesome game to play with your kids, ages 7 and up. The game has 8 wild alien characters that have different capabilities, and personalities. The game board consist of planets, a black hole, tunnels and a space elevator! Will we learn anything you may ask? Why of course you will! Cogno comes with Chaos Cards! Each card is full questions that are way cooler than trivia questions! When you get stumped on a question, don't worry, Cogno comes with a Book of Y. (explains the how & why for the chaos cards) Cogno also has a Parallel Planet board. Dr. Seuss Teacher Contest
  Hey everyone! Don't forget to enter our BEST Dr. Seuss activity or display contest. All entries should be turned in by March 28th so we can choose a winner. The winner will receive a $25 gift card to The Teachers' Lounge. All you have to do is take a picture of your display or activity, leaving any students out please, and turn it in at the store along with an entry form. Game of The Week: Diggity Dog

Diggity Dog is a child's first memory board game. all your child has to do is help the puppies find their bones! Press on the electronic barking dog and he will bark the number of spaces you move - 1, 2, or 3. When your puppy lands beside a bone, his magnetic nose can pick it up. If the color of the bone matches the puppy, you get to move it to your doghouse! First to find 3 matching bones wins. Diggity Dog will help your child with their colors, counting, and matching skills!

Dinosaurs Story Hour
 Let's explore the world of dinosaurs. We will read two fun stories called If the Dinosaurs Came Back by Bernard Most and Saturday Night at the Dinosaur Stomp by Carol Diggory Shields and Scott Nash. The children will get to show their creative side by making a new dinosaur using various parts of other dinosaurs. Game of the Week; Set
SET is a puzzle that uses cards which have 4 features on them: COLORS, SYMBOLS, SHADINGS, and the NUMBER of symbols. There is only 1 rule to make a SET. It has to be 3 cards in which each individual feature is either all the same or all different on each card. It is a game of visual perception!
