We had a great story hour today at The Teachers' Lounge. We read books about making friends and keeping friends. Good thing Big Smelly Bear decided to take a bath or I don't know how many friends he was going to keep!

Lizzie, our Lounge Lizard is figuring out how to make friends with what showed up in the big brown box yesterday. She is still a bit in a tizzie but getting used to the idea of sharing HER space. I did let the secret out of the bag (or should I say box) at our two story hours this week so our smallest customers found out what was hiding in the big brown box.

If you have preschool age children (age 2-6 years old) and have not been to one of our story hours, check out our calendar section on our website for our upcoming themes. Registration is required and opens up on Monday at noon each week and the event is FREE. Sign up online, by calling the store or ask for the story hour registration book while shopping at the store. We have been offering story hours to the community since our store opened two years ago and it has been a huge success. Give it a try on a Monday or Thursday morning at 10:30am.
