Let’s explore the best ideas that Mailbox has to offer for the upper grades! We’ll look at all types of classroom ideas appropriate for grades 4-8 including classroom organization and management, bulletin board displays, and activities for specific subjects such as language arts, math, and science. Each attendee will create a great math learning center game to take back to their classroom. Plus, each attendee will leave this workshop with a certificate of attendance.

Game of the Week
Check out Brain Quest at The Teachers' Lounge this week. No matter what grade, age, or subject, Brain Quest challenges kids on the stuff they need to know, when they need to know it.
- Each box contains two decks of cards, held together at the bottom with a grommet.
- The questions are on one side of the card, and the answers are on the next card, so kids can play it alone or with friends, as a review of the grade just finished or preview of the grade to come.

Item of the Week The Clearboard Communicator is a great learning tool for any classroom. This simple, plastic sleeve can be used over and over again by students and teachers alike. Just slip any worksheet inside, and students can write directly on the sleeve with a wipe-away marker. The communicators even come in several different colors making it really easy to divide your class into various learning groups.
Use the templates from the Communicator Template Books to practice a wide range of skills including science, social studies, and math. These template books are available for grades K-8.
