Halloween Story Hour Join us on Friday, October 29th from 6:30 PM - 7:15 PM for a SUPER SPECIAL STORY HOUR with a Halloween theme! Come dressed in your Halloween costume and get ready for some ghoulishly good Halloween stories! We will make a jack-o-lantern Halloween goodie bag and will travel the aisles looking for special Halloween treats!
The cost for this special event is $5.00 per child. Each child will then receive a $5.00 voucher to spend in the store that evening. They can use their voucher towards the purchase of any in-stock merchandise that they choose.

Place a Special Order With Mailbox
 Have you been wanting a particular book from Mailbox, but haven't seen it in the store? Well, you're in luck because this week we are placing an order with Mailbox and can add any book that you want to our order! Here's how it works:
•Call or stop by the store to let us know which book or books you want to special order. We will take payment for the books when you place your order.
•We'll order the book for you from Mailbox which gives you two bonuses-- you won't have to pay shipping AND you'll still receive your Lounge Lizard Club Points for your purchase.
•As soon as our Mailbox order arrives, we'll give you a call to let you know that your book is ready to be picked up! Our order should arrive around Friday, October 15th.
We'll be accepting special orders for Mailbox Books until 12:00 PM on Friday, October 8th so don't delay!

Easy School Fundraiser
 ATTENTION SCHOOLS! The Teachers' Lounge is announcing a super-easy, end-of-the-school-year, fundraising program. DON'T MISS OUT!
In this simple program, schools can sell summer workbooks to students at the end of the school year to earn money. Last year several schools told us to announce the program early in the year - so here are the details:
1) Call The Teachers' Lounge to sign up for the program.
2) The Teachers' Lounge will email you a customized letter and order form to send home with your students.
3) Copy the form and letter and send them home with your students in March or April.
4) Collect all order forms from your students by mid-April.
5) The Teachers' Lounge will pick up all order forms from participating schools and will process all payments.
6) The Teachers' Lounge will deliver all of the workbooks to your school by mid-May along with a check for your school's profits. The workbooks will be separated by classroom. Your school will earn $3.00 for every book that is purchased through this program. Plus, every parent will receive a coupon for $3.00 off any purchase at The Teachers' Lounge this summer for each book ordered!

.jpg) Our Fall Fun In The Early Childhood Workshop on Oct. 13th is now full. But, we are still accepting registrations for our Preschool Games To Reach Every Learner Workshop.
If you haven't attended a workshop at The Teachers' Lounge, you should know that they are fun-filled, hands-on classes that focus on ideas you can easily incorporate into your curriculum. Most projects shown in our classes can be made with items that you already have in your classroom. Many of our attendees like to come to our workshops with friends because we provide a laid-back atmosphere with time to chat and catch-up while we create our make-and-take projects. So, grab a friend and sign up today!
