A simple way to make the homeschooling day more fun, especially with young children, is to try homeschooling stations. This simple idea breaks up the monotony of a homeschooling routine, and creates the necessary movement important for schooling preschool or elementary-aged kids.
Personally and practically, we do stations about once a week at our house. Here’s a video of my first time trying it, and then another one showing some more examples of stations, about six months later:
