December Giveaway for Teachers!

by Laura Parker on December 2, 2011

We are so excited about the holiday season!

And to show our appreciation to you that you visit here every once in a while, we are giving away one of the cutest teaching gifts we’ve ever seen:

You can find this magnetized photo frame over at the etsy shop, AndVinylToo, where she has several adorable and reasonbly-priced signage! {I mean, wouldn’t the above be a good gift for your other teaching friends? Stop by her shop and check it out!}

To enter the giveaway, simply like Inspired Teacher on facebook if you haven’t already or share this post on your facebook page encouraging others to like us {we’ll be able to tell from fb who liked and who shared so you don’t have to leave a comment telling us about it if you don’t want}!  You can also get an entry by leaving us a comment sharing one of your favorite holiday activities you do in your classroom. We want to build a strong community of teachers who are passing around encouraging ideas, and we’d love your help in sharing our site and your ideas with other educators. {Those logged in to facebook should see the like box itself below. If not, click through by hitting the button below.}

Winner will be chosen on Friday, December 9th– just in time to get your frame for Christmas!

Happy Holidays! Finish strong, friends. Eggnog and sleeping late{r} and time at home are just around the corner.

    Hello Inspired Teachers!
    For years I have had many online projects to encourage global collaboration and especially enjoy the holiday season where we all have the opportunity to share our holidays. This year my kids learned about Christmas in Bethlehem besides Chanukah and more. It is always so exciting to learn about others and share knowledge. What better holiday spirit can there be in any classroom.
    I would send an email out to all of our friends and invite them to join us. You can see the results on the link. This year I am doing the same with the Global Virtual Classroom Clubhouse and invite any teachers interested to contact me.

    Happy holidays to all of the inspirational teachers and their students on this site!

    Special thanks to my dear friend, Marsha. Marsha, you are one of the most inspiring teachers I have ever known and thank you for our friendship. My students and I count ourselves as partners in Globaldreamers, believing that helping our students build friendships is an important way to spread the messages of peace, love, and hope throughout the world. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
