Cold Weather Kindness Let's warm the world with kindness this week! Help us collect new gloves and mittens for children in need. We will be accepting donations of gloves and mittens this week at The Teachers' Lounge. All donations are greatly appreciated!
What's New The new PhoneSmart Teaching Telephone from Learning Resources is a great educational toy for kids ages 3 and up. Kids can practice dialing and learn emergency phone numbers. They can also learn their home phone number and record and listen to voice messages. Plus, they will have lots of fun dialing friendly pretend people around town.

Let's warm the world with kindness today as we read the book, The Mitten Tree by Candace Christiansen and find out the answer to The Missing Mitten Mystery by Steven Kellogg. We will decorate mittens and hang them on a sinter mobile. We are accepting donations of new mittens and gloves at the store this week. The Teachers' Lounge will be donating them to children in need.
January 26 & 29: Let It Snow Story Hour

It is so fun to play in the snow! Join us as we read The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, Snow by Roy McKie and P.D. Eastman, and A Very Special Snowflake by Don Hoffman. We will build an igloo and paint a snow scene!

What's New Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Have you seen Clever Castle, our newest game from ThinkFun? The King and Queen of the castle are throwing a party. As the guests arrive one-by-one, you must help them find their place in the castle. Use the clues that the King and Queen have left you to get everyone in their correct spot. Clever Castle is a great thinking game for kids ages 5-7.
